Proverbs 12

Proverbs 12:18.

“There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” (NASB).

“There is blunt talk like sword-thrusts, but the speech of the wise is healing.”   (Tanakh).

“Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing.”   (NLT).

“Reckless words are like the thrusts of a sword, cutting remarks meant to stab and to hurt. But the words of the wise soothe and heal.” (TPT).
